I don’t like troubling people, so I’m sorry, but I hope you can help me find the name of a film with the details I give. All I can give is it’s based on a true story about women being raped and beaten up to varying degrees. All was done by a man that lived in the same area that the women were raped. Close to the beginning of the film a couple move into one of the flats/apartments in the complex the women and man live in and the man who moved in was in the police and because he knew the area he was one of those given the task of doing most of the legwork. I say flats/apartments complex because I don’t know the true name used in America. The police on questioning people in the complex narrowed it down through the questioning to two or three, and it was because of the description by one woman of a t-shirt that the man wore that gave the police the answer they needed because the t-shirt had a bear on it which was to do with an American football/baseball team. I can’t describe more but what I’m going to say next could be wrong, but I have in mind Joanna Kerns being the policeman wife, though that could be another film I’m thinking about. Seeing the film was a few years ago when the True Movie channels were about, which they changed to Sony Movies and now Great Movies and Great TV channel. Since True Movies were replaced I’ve never seen the film again, but even though the film was great, I can’t remember all the details thanks to a failing memory due to the mix of tablets I have to take. If someone can help, then please accept my thanks, but I can’t do more.
complex of fear
this should be the actual film. it even talks about finding him in that complex because he likes a football team
could it be “no one could protect her”?
