What’s that movie where someone tries to save another person’s suicide by time traveling in the past

That’s an old movie i saw in tv when i was little, 2010-2012 maybe. It might be related to Christmas and maybe it was the sister that was trying to save her brother from suicide because he is gay. I also remember that the brother was terrified and committed suicide because he had an erection in the middle of the class. I remember that he killed himself with a gun in his family’s backyard. Also, i remember a girl and something about not knowing what to do with her period for the first time. But that’s probably a different movie that i can’t remember the name.
Please help, i was thinking about this movie all my life. I still can’t find it.
