Sniper pointing at a girl on the beach kills himself

I remember a movie that I was only able to watch the scene at the end where a sniper pointing at a girl that was playing at the beach ultimately end up killing himself just before the end credits start rolling out. I remember that very vaguely, so I might not be describing the scene as accurately as I’d like.
