Romance where one of the partners gets cancer

I remember the movie is about two people who know each other since they were kids and grew as best friends and started dating. they had a good relationship and were going to get married then they found out she has cancer. they still go forward with everything but on the end of the movie she dies right on the day of her marriage and i think she left a letter to her fiance.
