old thriller movie

Hi,

looking for the name of a old thriller movie:

its a movie about light and darkness.
the devil/demon is looking for this kid because he was born at midnight.
the devil/demon cant come into the light because that’s his weakness.
the folks that take care of the kid are trying to get the kid to safety.
at some point in the movie the sun goes down and they use generators to keep the lights on.

that’s all i can remmember.
