Hi, pretty explanatory question. Some more info is that I think the couple escape by shooting the guy who is controlling them/the studio, through a wall at the end of the movie. It may also involve a time loop/groundhog day type plot. Also the movie title contains (or I think is simply) a date or time.
Note – I may be wrong about the tv studio part, but it is some sort of enclosed location, possibly apartment where they are stuck in this situation.
I can give more info (vague memories) if needed.

I think there may be a ray gun, or mind-control gun/device involved. It may even be a TV Movie. Sorry about the lack of detail.

Hi, thanks for the replies. A bit more info, the film is at least 20 years old, likely older. Stay Tuned sounds very close to the plot, but I’m sure there’s a date/time/number in the title…
