Movie where a woman wrote a list with a man’s name on it before she dies/gets murdered

Does anyone know the name of this movie where a woman dies but before she wrote the name of a man on a list. I think he tries to find out why, but weird things happen, like handmade straw animal on his car. And also I think he had a wife but she died in the bathroom
