Mist moive that isnt “The mist”

Okay so theres two ppl. A weird dog skinwalker creature that came from a giant door hidden in the fog and stuck on a long long LONG chain. The creature had no eyes and was hairless and seemed like a skinwalker but wasnt. The two ppl was a young man and woman, and two last survivors. There was a mall scene and a school scene where they hid. I’m so frustrated of not knowing the name, when I look up any of this “the mist” and “Homeward bound” pops up. Like homeward is a wholesome moive not a scary probably H.P inspired moive.
