Man moves into apartment romance

It seemed like an older movie. I’m trying to find a movie I can’t remember very many of the details. However I do remember the main character, man, either loses his job or his residence and moves into a room upstairs where there is a bakery downstairs. The bakery is run by a sweet older couple. Somehow the man falls in love. I believe the woman is blonde. I can’t remember much else other than the cute relationship he has with older couple and a spicy relationship with the woman.
