I do not remember the actors. I believe it was from the 1930s or 1940s. Black & white. A man and a woman spend the night together in a house by the side of the road, while hundreds of people trudge down the road beside the house, an endless line of passersby – all going the same direction, as if fleeing from something. But they are just walking slowly. The time period could possibly be World War ONE, but I’m not sure about that either. I seem to remember the windows of the house being open and the curtains are blowing around. For some reason that I do not remember, they must part the next day. I’m afraid that’s all I remember.
