I’m trying to find the name of this movie/series

So I found this movie on Netflix a couple of years ago and I think it was a series too. It was about this guy who took some sort of drug that enhanced his intelligence and needed up working for the police. It’s set in New York City. In one scene he calculates the exact place a subway train would stop and stands in front of it I think. But can’t for the life of me remember the name, any ideas?
