Cant remember the name of the movie, or series, where there is a part where a soldier expedition in the outlands of soviet russia are looking for something mysterious, the find a cave system full of dark magic monster wolves and starts fighting them, the son of the commander dies in the battle and in the end an airstrike bombs the place and kills all the monsters.
