Hi! My mom saw a movie on an American Airlines flight years ago and has tried to find this movie since then:
– movie was not in English, she was reading subtitles
– female lead was Asian, and the character was blind. Her parents and her were working with a matchmaking service
– she was in the rain, and a stranger offered her an umbrella and there was a connection
– later she went on a date with him via the matchmaker service but her parents didn’t approve
– eventually her dad gave in after the man proved his interest and dedication to wooing her (something about him getting hurt, or her getting hurt?)
