American movie about greek god working in a ranch and protecting a small boy

Please help me find the name of this movie. So a nephew (small boy) and his aunt live in a ranch (it is assumed that the nephew’s parents died recently), a Greek god appears in one of the caves and works for the aunt in her ranch with the horses while taking care of the nephew and protecting them both. There are some golden apples in some cave that the greek god has to retrieve and go with them back to his home but there are also some bad guys who want to steal them and get rich. It was a 90s movie if I am not mistaken.
