Weird movie 2012-2018 with the pet ghost turtle song

I can’t remember the name, but i rented it from family video years ago. It was about a group working in an abandoned hospital experimenting on sea creature people to try to find immortality. Then like a teen wants to do a graffiti art show as well. I remember little things like the pet ghost turtle song, the 5 minute monster dance sequence, and this gem of dialogue “we’ll kill him the same way the killed the show in jaws 3”. “How did they kill the shark in jaws 3?” “The same way they killed him in jaws” please help me find the title
