Film about a boy’s memories being changed?

I’ve spent hours trying to find a movie i saw a long time ago. It’s a thriller from circa 2000-2010.

I don’t remember the plot, but there is a boy who needs psychological (?) help and the parent(s?) take him to a man in a remote house. After this the boy starts drawing pictures of things that hasn’t happened to him. There’s one scene from a school/kindergarten where the mom finds the same pictures but the boy had never been there. In the end it turns out that the psychologist has somehow put his dead son’s soul/memories into the boy, which is why he remembers things that has never happened to him.

This is driving me crazy, help me find the film!
