Hello Merry Christmas !
In this special day of Christmas I am looking for an old american movie (60s-70s).
From what I can remember the movie starts as following : an old man in front of a fireplace tells his life.
He was a cowboy or a trapper in the mountains and tells his adventures.
Sorry but I can’t provide so much details as I saw this movie at least 30 years ago.

It is about a trapper, his story is told in flashbacks, and according to the IMDb keywords for the movie, there is a fireplace in the movie.
