Looking for a film about a little girl who goes into a forest and is invited to drink water?

I don’t remember much about this film except the fact that I’m pretty sure I saw it on netflix a couple years ago. In one scene, the main girl? happens upon a magical forest that allows her and her friend to enter, either that or she had lost her friend earlier and her friend was magically there. She is propositioned to join their society in the forest and she declines, though I believe her friend accepted. I think they joined by drinking the magic water that caused them to forget their pain or something along that line? Sorry me not remembering this is killing me.
