Film about housemates in the woods?

I remember watching a recent film but I can’t remember the name or find it anywhere…

The plot, from what I remember invovles

-a new roommate moves into a house (feel like it is set somewhere green in NE USA)
-her housemate watches cameras in a forest and collects data or is watching for forest fires
-through these cameras she is able to get information about financial markets which she sells (kind of premonition-like, there’s something spooky about this)
-there’s a scene where maybe the power goes out, but an old male neighbour comes and it is spooky but he doesn’t do them any harm?

Does this make sense to anyone? I feel like maybe it was a recent indie film…
