1960s or early 1970s adventure/travel documentary.

I was around 12 when I first watched this in tv in the late 70s.
I don’t remember much about it but here I go.

The film takes place in Alaska or perhaps The Yukon in Canada or similar type location it was shot in the summer.
A couple of families had converted Model T or Model A Fords or perhaps other older vehicle’s of that
era into campers.
They drove them around various locations where I have mentioned above to view the scenery.
One scene I remember in particular was that one of the vehicles got so hot that they
were able to cook an egg on the hood.

I know this is not much to go on but as I have not seen this film in over 40 years it’s the best I can do.
