Okay so all i really remember is the ending, but I do know its an older film like around 80s 90s.
ending:
The people on the ship all get off and the main dude asks the girl’s dad if she can marry her.
The main guy is like a sailor or something, idk, he wears a uniform with a cap and all.
After he asks her dad he says yes then he goes to his girl and they walk off together.
I know that isn’t much but someone pleasseeee help me find it
