Movie with scene in hotel room with a doll sitting

I’m looking for a movie with theme where a guy goes in some kind of building for a possible job it seems (everyone is professionaly dressed). He talks to some men and later with some woman.

Later on there is a scene where he is in his (hotel?) room and there is a doll and it has something written on it.

I don’t know if it’s horror or some other genre.
