Stabbing inmate with a pen.

I have a vague memory of a scene (don’t know of it is from a film or from a series) where the main character I believe, goes into an interrogation room with an inmate. All he has in hand is a pen, and he uses it to kill the inmate, and then blames that he did it in self defense.
