Surreal Italian film from the 1960s? Bright colors. The title of the movie was a woman’s name

Driving me crazy that I can’t remember the name of this film. I think it was in Italian but maybe it was in Spanish. The movie was set in a very surreal village of tiny, pastel colored houses. There were two men and a woman. The title of the film was the woman’s name. The two men were making a film and the woman was starring in it. They treated her horribly, and then, while filming a death scene, the woman actually died and the two men had a big laugh over that: “She actually died! Ha ha ha ha…”
Why I want to remember this, I can’t imagine. But the set was really wild.
