I don’t remember too much about the movie, but I know there are three teenage girls, one is black, one is latina, and I can’t remember the other one, and they’re close friends, and I wanna say they live in new york, but don’t quote me on that. They definitely live in a sketchy area of town. I know the latina chick lives with her mom and her younger brother and she has a rocky relationship with her mom and she’s pregnant. I think one of the ending scenes, she’s talking to her (black) baby daddy and he’s trying to force her to keep the baby but she hasn’t decided yet. I think they’re on a bus or a subway. I know the last scene is the black girl sitting on the subway, staring out the window, and it goes on like that for a minute or two. I remember at one point, the song, “Ooh child, things are gonna get easier,” is playing on the radio while 2 or 3 of the girls are getting ready for bed or trying to fall asleep. I vaguely recall a party scene? and I think one of the girls had gotten pregnant at 14 and something happened to the baby, but I’m not sure. Please, if you have any clue what movie I am talking about, let me know, because I REALLY wanna watch it again. Thank you!
