So, I remember watching a film a number of times when I was quite young, probably in the 80’s and I have tried to find this film over and over but have had no luck whatsoever.
From the costumes that I can remember I’m guessing the film was made or set in the 50’s or 60’s in the USA. All I can recall is a young girl who I think has blonde pixie cropped hair is struggling to find the right guy. She kisses a few different men, including a sailor I think as she is definitely Ona small sailboat at one point. When she finds and kisses the right guy the screen goes pink and misty.
And that’s all I have!! If anyone can help I would be amazed and of course eternally grateful!
Thank you Nevena12 I think you found the correct film. I can’t find anywhere to watch it but the original trailer is on YouTube and I definitely recognised bits of it. I don’t remember it being a musical but that would make sense why I enjoyed it so much. Thank again and fingers crossed I’ll get to see it again sometime x
