So it’s an old alcoholic doctor/dentist, can’t remember which. He and this younger guy become friends. The younger dude is an aspiring stand up comedian or sth. The older alcoholic dr dude is not close woth his family and is a widower. The old dude dies at the end (sorry for spoiler)
