I apologize for such little to go on… detective hunting a serial killer who uses a knife. There is a chase scene on a train(I think). I believe the detectives partner ends up being the bad guy. There is also a scene in a dinner where someone is choking and the (killer/partner/bystander) performs a tracheotomy on him. (Feels like this was somehow important to the movie, but maybe not)
