Revenge movie, likely late 1990s, early 2000s.

I saw this movie in 2008, on TV. So, it’s likely a 2000s film. It was a revenge movie, I think. It was about a guy that gets attacked on his farm. Then, he goes to a pawn shop and pawns a ring. There, he has a girl with him, she has dark hair, and is maybe a goth. Pretty sure it’s a one-word title movie. That’s all I got.
