Children’s animated movie my son and I watched – Don’t think it was English but dubbed

Hi,

My son and I are searching for a movie we watched a couple of years back, here is what we know:

Animated but not pixar like, more boxtrolls type but less polished.

Set in a cabin with lots of children in, like an orphanage but maybe a school

One kid gets picked on a bit by some older bully types

He goes into a room and finds a snowglobe (I think) and it transports him to a world which is icy or at least winter

He then goes on a quest to a castle where a man (who I’m sure is a Krampus type character) is ruling cruelly

There are various things I remember, like a giant statue that can’t speak but then does

A musical number or two

And that’s all I can remember for now!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
