Movie where woman rememebers her youth and one of her old lovers (and eventually reunites with him?)

Hi, i would be so grateful if someone helps me find this movie.

I remember watching this movie on netflix about 2 years ago, it talks about an older woman reminiscing about her youth and about how she met an certain old lover of hers.
The first minutes of the movie show the woman as a young girl,I believe the scene is set somewhere in france (it could also be italy or ireland though), and they also portray the first time she met her lover.

That’s pretty much all i remember, i don’t know what happens afterwards, i believe she and the lover reunite and remember their love? idk 🙁

The woman has like dark blonde hair and i believe that her lover is portrayed by an famous actor. If only I’d remember who.
