I can’t remember the name for the life of me

I have been trying to find a specific movie and it is nowhere to be found.
The premise is basically this secret pharmaceutical company kidnaps this man and tests different serums on him, I think to “optimize” his abilities. He is kept in a glass room in the middle of a huge laboratory and I think someone he loved was killed in front of him through a pane of glass. The ending is that the feds break up the lab, but he couldn’t be saved.
I think it was on Netflix somewhere between 2014-2017.
