Help identifying a film. Vampire/Loner style

I started watching the film but only saw the beginning.

It was a Mad Max style. Loner driving thru Post Apocalypse wasteland.
He pulled up at a garage a dragged a chained fridge out using the car into the sunlight.
He opened the fridge and the vampire/zombie was killed by the sunlight.

I believe the story involved the loner finding a child and returning to their family.
