Need help with finding a somewhat comedy movie title

A few years back I watched a movie where a woman dates a new man for a while but starts not trusting anything he says. The man dresses well but is out of shape and drinks a lot. Her best friend, a bartender, doesn’t believe a word he says and ultimately gets him drunk on expensive scotch until he passes out. She interrogates him and discovers he has no job and has been lying to her friend the entire time. She may have even tortured him a little. Near the end, the woman who is dating the man ends up getting blamed for the kidnapping and ends up owing him some form of reparation. That’s everything I remember. I wish I could remember the actors and actresses!
