Hello, my sister seems to think the movie is from 5ish yrs ago. It takes place around christmas or new years, inside an airport where the main characters miss their flights or have them delayed. Resulting in them spending time together in the airport and they fall in love idk. Probably a hallmarky movie where the plot isnt intricate and its a typical romance movie. thanks again if someone is able to help bring peace to my sister´s mind.

I like The Terminal (2004) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0362227/ but it’s a bit off from what you described, hence this is just a comment, not an answer 🙂
