Each can only know a part of the plan but none should know everything

What is the name of the movie where they had to defeat someone, but in order to do it they had to come up with a plan that was random. They had knowledge of a small part of the plan and I think none could know the entire plan or the bad guy would be able to see it. It had to be spontaneous I think…
